Purchases made by book club members earn bonus points at a rate of 1 point for every $1.10 spent (ie. $1.00 + 10% GST). When members' purchases reach a total of 150 points they become eligible for a Bonus Voucher valued at $15.00 which can be redeemed at Books In Print. Members must produce their Bonus Voucher at the time of sale to receive the benefit, and vouchers can be redeemed for goods only, not for cash. Every purchase you make is recorded against your membership number on the store's computer system, so it is very helpful if you tell us that you are a member when you come to the counter so we can ensure that your purchases are correctly logged.
Members earn points for every purchase made at Books In Print - this includes books on special, cards, calendars, diaries and all other products. Special orders and books ordered from overseas also attract bonus points. Any purchase of a Books In Print Gift Voucher will earn points, but points are not earned when Gift Voucher or Bonus Vouchers are redeemed. Australian Book Vouchers issued by the Australian Booksellers Association do not qualify for Book Club points.
Members' purchases are processed once every month and a Bonus Voucher is mailed out to members for every 150 points earned. Any excess points are carried forward - they do not expire.
If you shop locally on a regular basis and would like to be a part of our members club, please ask a staff member to sign you up. It is important that you then remember to let us know that you are a member every time you shop at Books In Print, no matter how small the purchase. Also, please remember that members must produce their Bonus Voucher in order to redeem it.
